The calendar directory is a convenient way to locate
events and
calendars that interest you.
The directory lists calendars organized into various categories through
a hierarchical chain. You start with more generic areas at the top
of the directory, and get more and more specific as you go deeper
into the listings.
When you publish a
calendar, you need to categorize it in order to place it in the proper spot
in the directory. That way, people to browse through the directory to find
what they are after. This is a great way to promote your calendar!
How To Search the Directory
Click on the button:
Enter a key word or phrase in text box provided. Click on the button:
You will see a list of calendars that matched your criteria.
Note that each calendar will have a checkbox next to it.
You can subscribe each checked calendar to
one of your calendars (choose from the selection list), or
You can add each checked calendar to your list of favorites.
How To Browse The Directory
Click on the button:
There you will see a listing
of top-level categories. Choose one and click on it.
You should see some combination of calendars (on the left)
and sub-directories (on the right).
Either click on a calendar to see what events it contains, or
click on a more specific category.
How To Publish In the Directory
Click on the button:
There you will see a listing
of top-level categories. Choose an appropriate one and click on it.
You may see further sub-directories. If they are appropriate,
click on them until you are in the right category for your
calendar.
Click on the button:
Choose a calendar from your list of calendars from the
selection list.
Click on the button:
Watch your calendar appear in the directory!
