SmartCal's management has experience at a large number of high
tech firms, including Apple, Oracle, Tandem, Bechtel, Wayfarer,
IBM, Pure Software, Motorola, Amdahl, Mpath Interactive (now HearMe),
Unify Corp, Go Corp, and DEC. With many years of combined experience,
the management team is focused on bringing its expertise directly
to benefit each client. We seek to apply our skills to build the
best possible product, to deploy it flexibly, and to understand
our client's real business needs.

Don Fowler CEO
|

Don previously served as CEO of two early stage companies,
eT Communications and World's Inc., and has served in executive
capacities with Tandem Computers, Bechtel Group, and IBM.
Don serves on the boards of three public companies (ECCS Inc,
ADAC Laboratories, and TelCom Semiconductor, all are NASDAQ
companies) and serves on the boards of Frontline Solutions,
Inc, 24by7 Corp, High Speed Surfing, Inc., and efound (all
private, early stage companies). Don also serves as chairman
of the President's Cabinet for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a
leading polytechnic university located in California.

Ed Crump Chairman, CTO & Founder

Ed brings 20+ years of development experience to SmartCalendar.
Prior to co-founding SmartCalendar, Ed led the QuickServer/UNIX,
INCISA/UNIX, and Wayfarer 4.0 Desktop development efforts
at Wayfarer Communications, Inc. Before Wayfarer, Ed served
in a variety of senior engineering positions at Pure Software
(now Rational Software) and Amdahl. Ed holds a BS in Computer
Engineering from UC Santa Cruz.

Russell Woods VP,
Business Development
|
|
Russell manages strategic direction with a focus on business development and
sales. Before joining SmartCal, he was Business Development Manager
of IMSI, a leading software development company that under his direction
gained dominance in graphic design applications with partnerships including
Yahoo!, Microsoft, Beyond and Xoom. In addition, Russell held sales positions
for a number of software development companies including Parity Software
(recently acquired by Intel). He attended University of San Francisco
and is a graduate from McLaren School of Business with a degree in finance.

Perry Clarke VP of Engineering

Perry has over 17 years of experience in the computer industry. His recent
work has been in developing technologies to use the Internet
for new kinds of businesses. These include AppScope, a new
form of remote software failure analysis, for Aqueduct Software
and online multiplayer gaming at Mpath Interactive (now HearMe).
Perry previously held senior engineering positions or led
development teams at Pure Software (now Rational Software),
Unify Corporation, Oracle and Motorola.

Richard Tabor VP of Content
and Production
|
|
Richard has over 22 years of experience in the computer industry. Richard
worked with Perry at Aqueduct Software as Chief Architect
developing a system for remote software failure analysis (AppScope).
At Internet Profiles Corp. (IPRO), Richard played a key role
in the design and evolution of the end-to-end processing of
web log data from some of the largest sites on the internet.
Richard has also held senior engineering positions at FirePower
Systems, Go Corp., Digital Equipment Corporation, Tandem Computers,
Software Publishing Corp., Gavilan Computer, Apple Computer,
and Zilog.

Lisa Hulberg Director of
Operations
|
|
Lisa has over 20 years of management experience in operations, accounting,
finance, HR and systems. She most recently served as Corporate
Director of Operations for AppleOne Employment Services, one
of the nation's largest employment agencies with over 40,000
clients and 75,000 temporary employees. In thirteen years
at AppleOne, Lisa managed all accounting, finance, HR, and
systems for 250 branch offices and 25 subsidiaries in the
US and Canada. She also built five new departments from scratch,
recruiting, hiring, and training staff and setting up management
infrastructure.
